Cheurombo Pswarayi is the Founder and Managing Director of MedTours Africa. She possesses excellent communication and leadership qualities which are transferred to her employees to guarantee organizational success. MedTours Africa is a medical tourism facilitating company which envisions healthcare access for all and was founded in March 2015. MedTours Africa was born from Ms Pswarayi's personal experience when her aunt passed away because their family was unfamiliar with the route to take for her to receive medical treatment from a hospital abroad. Ms Pswarayi's sorrow and pain led her to want to minimise the burden of different people who encounter the same challenge by providing healthcare solutions. After conducting her research into the medical tourism industry, Ms Pswarayi established partners globally.
She partnered with JCI accredited international hospitals in India, United Arab Emirates, South Africa and Egypt among other countries. Ms Pswarayi believes in providing the best for her clientele and does a hospital quality check before the patient and patient companion travel for treatment. She visits possible destination hospitals to assess the hospital facilities prior concluding the partnership with the hospital. Patients are not sent to hospitals that the Operations team have not surveyed. Ms Pswarayi also owns CJV Medical Supplies which is a medical equipment supplier and Paper Stocks a company which supplies sanitary papers.
Ms Cheurombo Pswarayi is an award winning and goal driven entrepreneur who has attended various medical industry conferences to stay updated with the industry trends. She was awarded the Megafest Business Award in the top 20 most outstanding women in business Winner for Entrepreneurial Excellence, the African Women Award Winner for the Most Dynamic Startup, the Corporate Live Wire award for the Best Medical Tourism company and the Women in Enterprise Conference and Awards Winner in the Services Category.
Ms Cheurombo Pswarayi holds an Executive Diploma in General Management from the Zimbabwe Institute of Management. She has a Diploma in Aircraft Engineering from Air Zimbabwe Technical Training Institute. Ms Pswarayi has great plans for the company's future and intends to make MedTours Africa one of the top medical tourism facilitators regionally.
Her love for nature, sight seeing and adventure makes her an individual who enjoys travelling. She also loves reading, her current read is Unlimited Power by Anthony Robbins.
