Binod Regmi

Binod Regmi works as consultant for World Health Organization and Epidemiology and Disease Control Division for taking intervention of non-communicable disease prevention and control activities in Nepal. Further that He had experiences as public health expert with Ministry of Health and population. He is an academician also. He is worked as Associate Professor and head of department in National Academy for Medical Sciences of Purbanchal University. He actively participates in university work.
He is active role in leadership in public health development in Nepal. More than five years he was taking the executive body (Central Treasure) of Nepal Public Health Association. He has beenelected as SEARO representative on the central governing council member of World Federation of Public Health Association (WFPHA) Geneva till date. Additionally, he is member of International Policy Committee of WFPHA.
He successfully serves his position to develop curriculum of Public Health in Nepal. He serves as consultant for different organization in research and training activities (UNFPA, WHO, NRCS, NG, UNICEF, LWF, Practical Action, UNDP, SNV, World Education, National Planning Commission etc. through School of PMER, GMTRC, HDA, PHPC, NEPHA, MEH etc.). Additional he is an independent advocate of public health in Nepal.
He did Master in Public Health, Master in Social sciences, Bachelor in Law, Master in Philosophy in population health. Mr. Regmi has been awarded for successfully completion of job share fellowships programme of WFPHA and PHAA in Australia. He was also awarded by NAMS as best instructor in public health. He has authored and contributed as executive editor to the Journal of Nepal Public Health Association (JNEPHA). Currently, He is associated as Research Director In School of Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Research.
