An educationist and the backbone of Sancheti group.( includes Sancheti Institute of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation (SIOR), Sancheti Hospital for Specialized Surgery (SHSS) & Sancheti Healthcare Academy (SHA). Manisha manages the entire administration of the Sancheti Hospital and Sancheti Healthcare Academy. Manisha is woman of many talents. She has completed her MBA in marketing as well M.Sc – Psychotherapy and counseling and diploma in Hospital Management. Extremely creative by nature - Manisha has a passion for flower arrangements. She is a woman with a large heart who has a beautiful blend of pragmatism and intuition.
She was president of the All Hospitals Association in Pune for 8 years.
In the last 20 years, under her watchful eye, SIOR has grown into is a vast concourse of a myriad different systems and departments. The hospital treats over forty thousand patients and performs more than 8,000 surgeries a year. Sancheti Hospital has received NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers) certificate under her guidance.
She, along with Dr. K. H. Sancheti, has mentored the, Sancheti Hospital for Specialized Surgery (SHSS) a state-of-the-art facility devoted solely to Joint Replacement Surgeries. In addition to her multiple administrative duties, she was a visiting faculty at various city institutes that run diploma courses in hospital management.
She took over as the Executive Director of Sancheti Healthcare Academy in 2011. The Sancheti Healthcare Academy which is the brainchild of Dr. K.H. Sancheti was entrusted to the capable hands of Mrs. Manisha Sanghavi to ensure quality education in the spheres of Physiotheraphy and Hospital Management.
The Sancheti Healthcare Academy comprising of the College of Physiotherapy and the College of Hospital Management established itself in a new building in Apr 2011. The College of Physiotherapy is conducting the Bachelors and Masters in Physiotherapy and has introduced courses in Sports Medicine and Clinical Nutrition, while the College of Hospital Management is conducting the Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Management (PGDHM) which is affiliated to the University of Pune. Under the tutelage of Mrs. Manisha Sanghavi the Sancheti Healthcare Academy has made a mark for itself in the educational environment of the city when it started the first autonomous Post Graduate Programme in Healthcare Services (PGPHS). Sancheti Healthcare Academy also started India's First International Dance/Movement Therapy certification course and have many fellowship Programmes.
She has been honored with the prestigious International Women's Achievers Award 2012 by the Human Achievers Foundation. Sancheti Group of Hospitals and Sancheti Healthcare Academy has received number of awards. She has attended crash course on Health Care management at Indian institute for management studies (IIM), Ahmadabad, and also attended many seminars, conferences at IIM. Mrs. Manisha Sanghavi has attended Management Training Programme of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy with India with GIZ, FICCI management course in Germany.
