Ms. Shammi Gupta, a Lifelong Yoga Practitioner, Yoga Mentor, Counselor & Life Coach, Healer, Yoga Therapist and Naturopath is the founder - director of Shammi's Yogalaya and Shammi's Yogalaya Foundation. She works passionately on the theme, 'Healing with Alignment' with a believe that 'Imbalance' is the source of all the miseries in life. Following her passion, she has presented scholarly papers at various seminars including 'World Yoga Seminar', 'Yoga World Health' & 'International Conference on Public Health' on the topics relating to 'Life Style Asymmetry as the key source of psycho somatic problems today.' She continues to spread the multidimensional aspect of Yoga and Natural Living in all the arenas of society and has worked with L&T Nirali Hospital, Rotary Powai, Vasantha Memorial Trust – Cancer Awareness, Buniyaad -English Medium Nurseries for underprivileged, Bipolar Disorder Group etc . As a community outreach program, she has been conducting and organizing Powai Yoga Fest, Mumbai Yoga Fest, Suryathon etc. which have been extremely successful and attended by more than 800 people.
She is a professional blogger and her articles on yoga can be seen on different social medias, newspapers and magazines. As a pioneer of an open group creating awareness under the theme, 'Discover Yoga Discover Yourself,' she has more than 13000 followers, getting benefitted by ancient practices of Yoga. She has also been felicitated with "Woman Healthcare Personality of the Year award,' "Woman Achiever Award" and "Super Achievers award." She designs and delivers 200 hours Teacher's Training Certification and 'Train the Trainers' in different Institutes. Her signature program, 'Sculpted You' is one of her proactive Health Management Capsule.
With an M.A. in Yoga Shastra, Diploma in Yoga, Advance Diploma in Yoga, 200 hours Yoga Alliance Teachers Training Certification, American College of Sports Medicine Certification, Myofascial Tissue Therapy & Cupping Therapy Certification, MBA in Finance & MBA in HR from the University of Akron, USA, Shammi has worked extensively with patients suffering from medical ailments, athletes in injury prevention specially runner groups in Mumbai & Goa, Corporates in lifestyle management, Dancers on muscular balance, Students, Celebrities, Industrialists, Bollywood stars, Social Activists etc. and has been instrumental in bringing positive and rewarding changes in their lives. Shammi Gupta strives to bring therapeutic bliss, a disease -free and a sampoorn life in all her practitioners by mentoring them into the journey of natural living through Yoga & Naturopathy.
