Norina is an entrepreneur and licensed pharmacist with seventeen years of experience in diverse areas of pharmaceutical sector ranging from Government, Retail and Wholesale divisions. She has a structured and pragmatic approach combining strategic planning, customer care, and a passion for enhancing and improving the quality of healthcare of every member of the community. The latter is crystallized in the mission and vision of her pharmacies Noripharm and Noorpharma as 'Votre Santé Notre Priorité (i.e. Your Health & Well Being Our Priority').

Norina is empathic and passionate to help people. She embarked on being a pharmacist and developed an in-depth knowledge in this area helping her to deliver optimal pharmaceutical care to patients by taking into account their medical history. She has an extensive knowledge in licensing and regulatory compliance and holds a successful track record of building strong relationship with patients/public, various members of health profession, suppliers, pharmaceutical stakeholders and government bodies. As President of Pharmaceutical Association of Mauritius (PAM) in 2014, Norina worked with the Ministry of Health to put forward Pharmacy Council voted in 2015 and amendments in Pharmacy Act which is in the pipeline to be considered. She is actively involved in community work to raise consciousness of importance of health of all individuals.

She leveraged her strong business acumen and used technology to improve productivity and efficiency of the organization resulting in an increase in revenue and reduction in operation costs. She is also actively involved in benevolent activities to help improve the quality of life of fellow citizens and enhance social equity by participating through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.

In December 2014 she has been awarded 'The African Leadership Award' (Pharma) for her contribution in Pharmaceutical and Health sector in Mauritius. Recently in August and November 2016, she has been awarded the title of 'Africa Most Influential Women 2016' in Business and Government at Country, Regional and Continent level in the field of Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Petrochemical Sector by CEO Global Awards. Furthermore in December 2016, she has been recognised for her contribution in health sector and awarded the title of '100 Most Influential Women in Mauritius'.
