KIDicious - Learning Differently
Ms. Renu Goyal is the founder of KIDicious – Learning Differently, a child psychological therapy clinic based in Delhi. Her vision is "to accept each and every child as they are regardless of their abilities or disabilities". According to her, each child is unique in his/her own way and should be remembered by his/her strengths instead of his/her weakness which makes them special.
Ms. Goyal spent over 22 years of her life to become a Clinical Child Psychologist from schooling to M.Phil and has thrust to learn more each and every day.
She has done extensive work in the field of psychology and rehabilitation for past 13 years. She has an experience in working with renowned hospitals and schools of Delhi. She is Rehabilitation council of India (RCI) registered person and affiliate member of various psychological associations like American Psychological Association, Indian Association of Clinical Psychologist, and Rehabilitation Council of India etc.
Ms. Goyal has written various articles relating to Child Psychology in magazines like Meri Saheli, Responsible parenting, Psyinsight etc. She has presented many papers in national and international conferences. As a part of her social responsibilities, she also conducted a couple of free workshops for increasing awareness in schools for children, teachers and Parents on topics such as Good touch Bad Touch, Learning Disabilities, Bullying etc. She is also running a campaign named as "Big Volt Wire". "The Big Volt Wire" program is aimed to be a shift paradigm in the thought process among masses, especially the Parents, Teachers and all those professionals who have been and are associated in one or the other form helping Dyslexic, ADD, ADHD and all such children.
Her next dream is to create a school for kids where learning would be differently. As each child is different from one another and we should respect their uniqueness and qualities and turning their weaknesses into strengths.
