Dr. Talavane Krishna

Dr. Krishna was born near Sringeri in the state of Karnataka, the oldest centre of Vedic learning (Rig Veda) established by Shankaracharya twelve centuries ago.

He did his medical degree from Mysore University in 1972 and his post graduate training in the UK and Canada as a Pediatric Anesthesiologist and practiced in the USA for over two and a half decades.

His passion for Ayurveda/Yoga and understanding of its profound philosophy of healing powers were inspired by his spiritual Master Sri Ranga during his early tender teen years. He founded the Indus Valley Ayurvedic Centre over fifteen years ago with a vision to bring Ayurveda/Yoga to the forefront of the modern medicine. He along with other experts, pioneered a Therapist's training program and developed new design concepts for AYURVEDA Centres. The Centre quickly gained international repute for its quality of treatments.

A visionary of integrative healthcare, he has been a regular speaker in various national and international seminars and conferences. He was a speaker in the first World Medical Tourism Congress in San Francisco. He has travelled extensively in many countries and is well informed about the changing faces of medicine in the global scenario. He received WASME (World Association for Small and Medium Enterprises) award in the year 2001 at Antalya, Turkey.

Dr Krishna has authored a bestselling book on Vaastu, (Indian Vedic art of structures, design and placement) "Vaastu Work Book".

At the Centre in Mysore he teaches on various subjects related to Health and Wellness. His favorite topics are Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis (NadiVijnyan), Vaastu and Vedic concept of healing which brings students from various parts of the world.

Dr Krishna is considered as a foremost expert in the Industry and several articles have been published on him in various journals and newspapers. More significant among them are the prestigious journal "Spa Mantra and South China Post.
